Bob and I have just returned from teaching Module One and Two in Ireland, and then Module Three in Germany. It’s been a while since I’ve experienced all three in a row. It’s a powerful experience and reminds me more than ever that SourcePoint training is not only about learning techniques; it’s a personal healing journey.

This time, I felt an infinitesimal and yet huge shift in my perspective, my body, my mind: the continuing shift towards health as my context. Of course I have been aware of that principle all along and felt myself changed by it: that in SourcePoint we focus on health, not specific illness, not the story of disease. But this time, something happened. We’ve all had that experience, when what we are told, and repeat, becomes suddenly, deeply real.

I saw, looking back over years and years, my focus on and fascination with my symptoms, how they have defined my reality. I have experienced firsthand what we talk about in SourcePoint: becoming organized around my trauma rather than the inherent health present in my connection to the Blueprint. I am not making a judgment about that. I evidently had to learn to pay attention to what was happening in my body and take care of myself, and to understand the nature and the message of the symptoms. I had to learn to value this precious body. To believe in this body and its inherent health, to shift the emphasis from my story.

What is health? That question comes all the time. I see now it is the very existence of this body, right here, just as it is, with all its imperfections and imbalances. It’s that simple. What is health? It’s life. The incomprehensibly powerful thrust of the universal life force energy into material being is pure wellness; it is Order, Balance, Harmony and Flow, it is the activity of the Blueprint.

Everyone of us has that force within us now. Not some day in the future, maybe, when we get better. It’s there always, when we are sick, when we are tired, when we are depressed, when we are happy, when we are born, and yes, when we are dying.

In this body we are riding a wave of health, of life force manifesting. The more connected we are to our fundamental reality, the blueprint of health, the longer the wave, perhaps. It all depends. On how the forces we experience while in the body, the forces of trauma and karma, and ancestry and environment, to name a few, interact with that force of inherent health. Our choices have a lot to do with our state of health but they are not the only defining factor. Trauma, karma, ancestry, and environment are powerful forces also. The awareness we bring to our experience, the love we give and receive, how we communicate with others, the connection to the greater Order, Balance, Harmony and Flow, so much affects health.

However, the simple fact is, health is a powerful presence in our lives, innately, inherently, undeniably. The more we focus on it, the stronger we get.

And, I can say from personal experience, a simple daily practice of Diamond Points, Guardian Points and Navel Point provides a clear, directed, powerful way to focus on health, to call it forth, to enter into it, to experience it.

(If you haven’t yet experienced SourcePoint training, the Diamond Point Meditation from our book is a way to begin)

Harmony

Reflecting on words, we bring their energies, qualities and vibrations more present. “The word” brings us closer to the energies it symbolizes; “the word” has the power to invoke its own meaning and actualize it in the manifest world. The ancients knew this. Indeed, one of the best known creation myths begins with the words “In the beginning was the word…”

And that word was what philosophers and theologians call Logos. The original meaning of this in ancient Greek is simply word, speech, or thought. It came to have implications of the divine ordering intelligence and principle behind everything, the word that was in the beginning. The structure and pattern of the cosmic order.

Which brings us to the Greek word Kosmos. The original meaning in Greek is “embroidery,” which implies “the orderliness and harmony of woven patterns with which the universe is embroidered and moves. Kosmos signified the honorable and ‘right behavior’ of the whole, the harmonious orchestration of the world’s pattern and processes.” (A Beginners Guide to Constructing the Universe, by Michael Schneider, )

“As re-stated by Plato, to discover kosmos in the world was to reveal kosmos in one’s own soul.” (The Passion of the Western Mind, Richard Tarnas) This is what we work with in SourcePoint, the reflection of the cosmic order within our own body, mind, and spirit.

In the philosophies and studies of ancient Greece, the inherent harmony of the universe was discovered by investigating the underlying ordered patterns, the mathematical relationships, that are the fabric of material reality, the kosmos. The Greek word harmonia means “fitting together.” (Beginners Guide, once again) When all things fit together in an ordered way, we have harmony.

When things fit together, work together, communicate with each other, dance together, play together, move together for the greater good, in the greater good, we have harmony. When our actions and relationships, our bodies and minds and spirits, are connected to and informed by the cosmic harmony, the cosmic order, then, things go well. When the systems of the body co-ordinate according to the principles of order inherent in kosmos, we have harmony.

Harmony is another word for equanimity. In these times, equanimity is essential. The waves of the world rise and fall, storm and subside, storm and subside, around us and within us. Emotions run high, demands are many. We live on information overload. There’s not enough time. People interact with their devices rather than each other. Stress is the norm.

Order, Balance, Harmony, Flow. Remember. It’s who we are. We experience that order and harmony in our breath, in our heartbeat, in the natural world, in the words themselves. We need to remind ourselves of that a million times a day these days, in order to maintain health, well-being, equanimity, and the capacity for responsible choice and action in the world.

Logos, Kosmos, Harmonia…..

Spanda: The Creative Vibration and Movement of Universal Energy

Continuing the exploration of echoes of ancient wisdom in the principles of SourcePoint. This time from the book “The Doctrine of Vibration: An Analysis of the Doctrines and Practices of Kashmiri Shivaism” by Mark S. C. Dyckowski. From Chapter 3, ‘The Universal Activity of Universal Consciousness.’

If you take the time to read this, notice how the words themselves carry the vibration they speak of. Immersing oneself in the vocabulary of the cosmic order indeed connects one to that cosmic order.

The author here is speaking of “Spanda.” Spanda, in Sanskrit, is a word that describes the inherent creative vibration of the Absolute, the Universal Energy, as it moves into and manifests as vibrant form. That vibration is present in every natural form, it whispers and breathes and pulses in the depths of our being. It is regarded as the source of life itself.

” The motion of absolute consciousness is a creative movement, a transition from an uncreated state of Being to the created state of Becoming. In this sense, Being is in a state of perpetual Becoming; it constantly phenomenalises into finite expression…. Thus, the universal character of Being is expressed in the radiant form of each phenomena. Rightly understood, Being and Becoming are the inner and outer faces of universal consciousness which becomes spontaneously manifest, through its inherent power, as this polarity…”

Let’s look at this from the SourcePoint perspective.

In SourcePoint we would say that this pulsation, this vibration, carries the information of what we call the Blueprint, the information of Order, Balance, Harmony, Flow, inherent in Source.

Reflect on the statement ..”Being is in a perpetual state of Becoming…” Not only becoming, but becoming ITSELF, that is, a natural finite expression of the inherent Order, Balance, Harmony and Flow. Holding the Diamond Points, connecting with the Diamond Points through our energy work practice or meditation,we are connecting with that creative moment, Being into Becoming, that moment of manifestation. As we dwell in that moment we are nourished, strengthened, supported. We are naturally brought into further alignment with that Order, Balance, Harmony and Flow that is our fundamental nature; the ground of our life, our health and our well-being.

We can say, to paraphrase and modify, that the universal character of Being is expressed in the radiant form of each of us. In each person who walks in the door asking for help. In each person we encounter each day. And in ourselves. We can say that each of us is the outer face of the universal consciousness, radiantly manifest. As we begin to know ourselves in that way, it changes… everything.

Ancient Wisdom

I love exploring writings of ancient wisdom and finding resonances with SourcePoint. My current source is “The Dawning Moon of the Mind: Unlocking the Pyramid Texts” by Susan Brind Morrow. It’s a new and brilliant, poetic and spirit-filled, translation. The Pyramid Texts are etched on the walls of a burial chamber of a long ago pharaoh, Unis (also known as Unas).

As Morrow interprets these verses, they are instructions for the soul of Unis and its journey upon death. Really, any soul. And the texts are explorations of the nature of soul, self, universe and Source.

Here’s what she says of a passage from the Antechamber, North Wall. She’s discussing hieroglyphs of falcons, twin falcons:

The twin is the Platonic concept of the template: you exist before you exist, and you exist after you exist, because there is a pattern that is the template for your existence, the geometric essence of your existence….(p.71)

So once again, in the 24th century BC, engraved in symbols on a stone wall, we find evidence of the deep knowledge of what we call the Blueprint. That’s exactly how we define the Blueprint of health for the human being that we work with in SourcePoint; it is the template for our existence. There is power in lineage, and the Blueprint has its lineage, it has been known in some form always by ancient cultures, its presence can be found in cultures and times throughout the world and its history.

Here’s more from these same texts. …’ma’a’ (is) the Egyptian word for ‘truth,’ which comes into Greek as ‘moira,’ ‘fate.’ The hieroglyphic word is spelled with a ruler, indicating that measurement is ultimate truth, the cosmic order, the invisible underlying pattern that manifests in geometry, in astronomy, in sound.

Morrow continues, The hieroglyphic word ‘herw’ [sound, vibration] is often paired with the word ma’a ‘truth’ as the noble goal of life: one strives at death to have accomplished ‘ma’a herw,’ not to speak the truth or have a true voice but to be true to the clean underlying pattern of what one is, the ma’a herw- the true vibration, the vibration of truth. (p.88)

This strikes me as another way of describing the Blueprint, the deepest truth of our being, of who we are. The Blueprint contains the essential information of Order, Balance, Harmony and Flow necessary for matter and life to manifest from the universal energy. The Blueprint is our fundamental truth, what we all have in common as human beings. We embody that Order, Balance, Harmony and Flow, that truth. We are the vibration of truth.

Here’s more on truth from “The Dawning Moon of the Mind.:”

Ma’at, the embodiment of truth, marked with a feather, is the continuous, measured uncontrollable movement through space that is the natural order of things. The truth is the innate order of the universe that underlies life on earth as a physical reality. It is visible at any time and contradicts the assumption that death is the ultimate reality. The ultimate reality is the underlying order and its pervasive beauty. Even disorder is ruled by, folds into and emerges from ultimate order. (p.216)

Life and death are inextricably intertwined, their rhythm is that of the cosmic order, the natural order. In the material world, we live with polarities, everything contains the seed of its opposite. Thus from order, disorder can arise. From balance, imbalance, from harmony, disharmony, and from flow, rigidity. But the opposite is inevitably true, and so from disorder, order can return, and so on.  Cycles and spirals and turnings of wheels within wheels. What a marvelous universe is our home. What a marvelous awareness allows us to experience ourselves, our true nature, the fundamental beauty that everything is, that we are.

On this night of the full moon of February 10, 2017, I wish you the experience of the fullness of who you are, the beauty of your fundamental nature, the wisdom of your essential mind, and the love that dwells in the heart of everything.

The Blueprint and Joy

The Blueprint of health that we work with in SourcePoint contains the information of the highest potential of the human being. It supports, sustains and nurtures life. That is what we call love. The nature of the Blueprint is love.

At SourcePoint trainings we observe people come together in the energy field of the Blueprint. We connect with and explore that field together. And over three days, or five days, or six days, we experience together greater and greater joy — in ourselves, in each other, and in our lives here on this earth. It seems the nature of the Blueprint is also what we call joy.

Order, Balance, Harmony, Flow. Love, joy, abundance, health and peace. Our birthrights. Each of these fundamental qualities is inherent in the universal energy, reflected in our individual being. As it is said in Sanskrit Tat Tvam Asi. That you are. You are That.

And yet, in each of these fundamental qualities lies the seed of its opposite. It’s in the nature of things in this material world. From sorrow arises joy, from joy arises sorrow, and so the waves come and go. From birth arises death, and from death, birth. Winter becomes spring becomes summer. In order there is the seed of chaos, and vice versa. As we incarnate into this world, we experience the arising of the opposite. Coming from balance, from harmony, from flow, we experience imbalance, disharmony, rigidity. We become confused and forget the other. We believe the story of the opposite.

SourcePoint is about remembering and experiencing the story of the original. The natural. The fundamental truth of our existence: Order, Balance, Harmony and Flow. And with that experience arises health, and love, and joy. So many practitioners have told us that clients report experiencing hope after their first SourcePoint session. We just keep hearing this. Hope brings joy.

Connection to our original nature opens doors into hope and possibility, joy and healing.

In relation to this, I’ve been reflecting on the popular words “Follow your bliss.” People seem to think this means finding what makes you happy in the world. But I don’t think it means that at all. I think it means””find in yourself that bliss that is your fundamental nature and then follow that, dwell in that, make your choices from that experience.  It’s not an instruction about how doing what you love makes you happy.  It’s a teaching from ancient sages and mystics about how to disengage your state of well-being from the circumstances of the world. That bliss inherent in the universal energy is different from the happiness that comes from doing what you love. It’s limitless well-being. And living from that brings a joy much deeper than the happiness dependent on circumstance.

That state of consciousness, that limitless well-being, is open to each of us, at every moment. It supports us at every moment.

People tell us frequently that meditating with the Diamond Points regularly puts them in touch with that limitless well-being. People also report that doing the Diamond Points for themselves before moving on to their customary meditation practice helps them to settle into it more smoothly.

It seems that just as SourcePoint supports other healing modalities, it also supports whatever spiritual practice one has undertaken. Of course. The Blueprint contains the information of the highest potential of the human being. And realizing that is what all spiritual practice is about.

I see more and more that SourcePoint is a meditative practice. As we hold the points for another, or for ourselves, as we scan, attentively, carefully, as we connect with the Blueprint through other SourcePoint practices, we enter into a state of meditative Awareness that holds all stories, all opposites, all possibilities, in Awareness. And, it is through that embrace of it all that we come to an experience, however momentary, of that limitless well-being.

None of this is idealistic and abstract. Order, Balance, Harmony, Flow. Bliss. Love. Joy. Peace. Light. Well-being. All these are words for the same experience that is in us, around us, available to us, through whatever of the countless thresholds we choose to cross. Tat Tvam Asi.

Intention, Context and Belief Systems

01The Blueprint of Perfect Health

Order, Balance, Harmony, Flow

Painting by Bob Schrei

SourcePoint Therapy is founded on the intention to connect to the information of the Blueprint and to allow that information to work in the human body to bring greater Order, Balance, Harmony and Flow. All the practices are simply ways to do this.

When we connect to the Blueprint of health for human being, we shift the context of our work (on ourselves, or for another) from illness to health. The Blueprint becomes the context. Your context becomes Order, Balance, Harmony, and Flow, health, rather than ill-health. If you are a practitioner, as soon as your clients walk into the room, they are walking into a field of health.

The intention of the SourcePoint practitioner is entirely focused on health.

Often when discussing this, people ask for a definition of health. For the purposes of practicing SourcePoint, essentially, health is health. It isn’t necessary to analyze. The word itself carries the vibration of health. Don’t be distracted by debating the point, just focus on HEALTH. Assume the Blueprint knows what health is!

The context shifts as soon as the practitioner holds the Diamond Points, as soon as the blockage is addressed; all this shifts the context.

When there is this focus on health, people leave your environment with a lot of new information about health, in the body, the mind, and the spirit.

For most people their belief systems are their context, and their belief systems arise from their experience. Part of what you are working with in shifting context is to help a person (or yourself) to begin to believe in the possibility of health. If a person has a chronic illness, negative belief systems can develop about the possibility of getting well. It is harder for healing to happen in that context.

“Context” is an actual energetic structure, created by the thought-forms that populate the energy field, including the body. Belief systems are actual energetic structures. It isn’t necessary to see them, but understand that the energy and information of a belief system can work for years, for lifetimes, after a trauma, to overwhelm the healthy energetic structure. In SourcePoint we work with energetic structures that arise from the Blueprint of health.

From the SourcePoint perspective it isn’t necessary to identify the belief systems that are affecting a person. Very often they are unconscious. This is what is very confusing for people when they want to do affirmations for healing. The conscious mind is saying the affirmation and the unconscious is actively holding on to the unconscious belief system.

SourcePoint Therapy provides a way to address these belief systems without having to uncover them all and examine them in detail. You don’t have to argue with yourself, you don’t have to find affirmations to antidote old belief systems. Connecting to the Blueprint, grounding in the information of the Blueprint, allows the Blueprint to shift the context to health rather than ill-health.

Shifts in context require patience and effort. They don’t just happen overnight. Intentions are powerful, but to actually shift your own context, let alone help to shift someone else’s, takes that patience and effort.

Practitioners’ belief systems also start to change as they see the result of focusing on health, connecting to the Blueprint. This shift in the practitioner facilitates the work. If you truly believe with all your heart that the person who walks into the room has the potential for health inherent in them and that there is a way of awakening that potential for health, then that is going to make a difference in your interaction with the person, in the way that the client feels, and eventually in their physical progress.

Remember, it is actually the Blueprint that is shifting the context, but your activity as a practitioner in connecting with the Blueprint, connecting the client, believing in that full potential for health, all this is something you can do, for the benefit of yourself and others.

The Power of Awareness

By | Published:

star sketchSketch by Bob Schrei

The ground of our practice of SourcePoint is Awareness – with a capital A to emphasize its all-pervading presence, the Awareness that we take so for granted.

Every moment, we are aware. We see, we feel, we taste and touch, smell, think, perceive, observe, remember, we hear, we make choices. Our Awareness is operating always, but our learned tendency is to focus on what we perceive, not on the process of perceiving. We pay attention to and get caught up in those objects and experiences of our Awareness, not the Awareness itself.

Awareness is the common thread that weaves through every activity, every emotion, every belief. Through good experiences and trauma alike, our Awareness perceives, experiences, learns, and becomes conditioned to certain responses.

Through meditation and in our daily life, as we become aware of our Awareness, our focus shifts from the outer circumstance to the Awareness itself. And that Awareness is a universal experience. Everyone who talks, laughs, cries, has opinions, makes judgments, makes mistakes, experiences, learns, denies, every single being we encounter, human or not, shares the same Awareness we experience every single day.

The awareness of that Awareness is a unifying experience. It is harder to stand outside and judge. It is easier to set aside one’s own perspective, conditioned by one’s own experience. And, as we say over and over again, “getting out of the way” is an important ingredient in effective SourcePoint practice. So here getting out of the way isn’t an active exercise. It’s simply the shift of attention from one’s own conditioned experience and beliefs to that presence of universal Awareness within each of us.

Just try spending a day being aware of your Awareness. When seeing, be aware that you are seeing. We take it so for granted. Pay less attention to what you see and more to the incredible fact that you are seeing. When you hear, listen, with intense pleasure, to the sound, no matter what it is, and be aware of your Awareness. And so on. When thoughts arise, realize it is simply your mind doing what your mind does. Awareness is naturally spacious and all-encompassing and…. Its tendency is to fill itself up.

Let your day be a meditation. It’s so perfectly possible, without great strain or effort, because, all you are doing is noticing what is always there, what is always functioning, what is at the core of your being.

When you focus on Awareness, it expands. Or, rather, your awareness of Awareness expands. You become aware of the vastness, the spaciousness, the endlessness of it. You are aware of being held in a vast space of Awareness. In the Tibetan tradition they call it the Mother Awareness and the Child Awareness. From that space of Mother Awareness, your thoughts are like little children playing on the swings. You keep a close eye on them, to make sure they don’t get out of hand, but you let them play.

To become more aware of Awareness is to enhance your skill as a practitioner of energy medicine. The field we work with is vast and sentient, full of subtle nuances and variable frequencies. Again, the common thread, that which notes and observes all phenomena, is Awareness.

Through Awareness, we connect to the Blueprint. Entering into a state of greater Awareness with the intention of connecting to the Blueprint, it happens naturally, without strain.

The Starfish Are Dying and No One Knows Why

By | Published:

iemanja122

Yemanja is the Goddess of the Ocean in the traditions of Africa, Brazil and many other places. Yesterday, February 2nd, she was celebrated as she is every year in Salvador, Brazil, where she also goes by the name Janaina. Thousands of people gather to make offerings to her on this day.

Yesterday I read this news in the headlines: The Starfish are Dying and No One Knows Why.

Traditionally, Janaina is crowned with a starfish and often wears a blue cloak covered with golden starfish.

All up and down the west coast, off California, large numbers of starfish are dissolving, literally turning to goo, according to reports. Scientists are mystified. They theorize a bacterial infection. There is flurry of activity and concern as they try to discover the cause.

The starfish is the special love of Janaina, her messenger. If we have ears to hear or eyes to see, what does this dying tell us?

The resonance of these two events disturbs me deeply, because there is a third event that occurred simultaneously. Recently I was given a glimpse of a world of the future. No time frame, no prediction. A glimpse that is so sadly easy to believe, given the drought in California, the cold of our winters and the heat of our summers already, the ongoing pollution of our waters and air.

The earth was brown. The rivers were brown, the oceans were brown, the forests were dead. Our beloved earth, as we usually see it imaged from space, is still a vibrant green and blue and white. In the view I saw, it was dark brown, and rust, and black. Even the clouds surrounding it were brown. I wept.

Then the next day I read of the starfish dying.

I take the dying of the starfish as a message from Yemanja/Janaina. Another wake-up call among so many we are consistently ignoring.

Many years ago, in 1988 to be exact, the Awareness said the only, yes, the only, thing that we need to be concerned about in relation to the future existence of life on earth was climate change, then called global warming, and that this climate change was related to our human activities, in essence, to our human greed and ignorance and aggression.

So, we know this. Not everyone, but undoubtedly everyone reading this. I don’t know what to do, and I don’t have a lot of suggestions to make. We know such a deep sea change has to happen. And I don’t think it is any accident we have that phrase “sea change.” We need a tidal wave of change, and that change has to be in human consciousness.

In SourcePoint, we talk about far vision: The need to hold in our hearts, minds and spirit the vision of a world transformed, a world of co-operation, communication and sharing rather than a world fueled by aggression, domination, control and greed. Human lives lived in alignment with and awareness of the fundamental Order, Balance, Harmony, Flow.

This morning I am finding it especially challenging to hold that vision.

I realize as I write that I was given in that image of the brown, discolored earth a direct and simple way to work with my fears, grief, anger, helplessness, and with the need to hold a far vision. I can just keep seeing that one future possibility, that brown earth among the stars, and see it transforming back into that image I have loved from the moment I first saw it, that lovely sphere with its oceans and forests and clouds.

I can see again that brown earth turning to green and blue and white, vibrant and alive, over and over and over. I can breath life into that image. We all can. We all need to. No matter what the outcome.

SourcePoint also provides one way among many for us to remember the sacredness of nature. As I become more aware of the underlying exquisite, breathtaking, seemingly impossible order and precision of nature, I understand deeply the meaning of the word sacred. I hold my breath in wonder and awe. I return to the faith that this cosmic order is stronger and deeper and wider than our human ignorance.

And I honor Yemanja, the spirit of the waters, the goddess of the ocean. The day before all this happened a friend sent me an article by David Spangler, a spiritual teacher who was originally known for his work at Findhorne. He wrote of the water spirits, and how one morning recently he had received a message from a water spirit in a glass of water. The communication from the water spirit was simple. “When you use water, please send loving, healing and uplifting energy (Light) to the kingdom of the water spirits for many of our kind are suffering and under siege from the continuing and increasing pollution by humanity. We need your support and blessing from which we can draw strength.”

I received this almost exact message from the water spirits many years ago. It was a time when I was praying for rain, which living in New Mexico under increasing conditions of drought, I used to do regularly. Not any more. The water spirits told me: We are exhausted. We are doing everything we can but we are exhausted. We have always helped you but now we need your help. I was told that to acknowledge them, to honor them, to sing to them, to meditate with them, to offer them my recognition and love, all these nourished and sustained them and gave them strength. I was told that for us human beings to keep praying, asking over and over for what they are not able to give, exhausts them further. Ever since, I try to make this a daily practice, to offer them strength and ask how I can help.

I think the starfish are giving us a simple message: we need to pay immediate, deep, attention to the waters of life and spirit, and these two are inextricably intertwined.

In SourcePoint , we don’t work directly with the spirits of nature. We work with the realm of the Blueprint, of that cosmic order from which spirits and life and the material world arise. But as we connect with that realm on a regular basis, that information of the Blueprint awakens our knowing, our memory, of the presence of Spirit and spirits. Nature is light, nature is order, nature is spirit and energy. Nature is beauty. Nature is life. We are all of that, spirit, energy, light, order, and beauty.

So this morning I am writing this to heal, for the moment, the deep despair that I felt when I saw so vividly those dead forests, the brown oceans, the disappearance of the color and the light and beauty that is given us as a precious gift and which we have so abused. I am writing to remember that far vision, to return to it, to hold it in my heart, always. I am writing to honor the presence of sprit and light in our world.

For human beings to recognize the sacredness of this world, deeply, would save it. May we all who know this, remember this, every day. May we all find our ways to work directly with the trees, the plants, and the waters of this earth.

Reflections from Awareness: Peace on Earth

By | Published:

myPicBlackboard Sketch by Bob Schrei

Excerpt from an Awareness Session* with Bob and Donna, New Years Day, 2014

For the new year, let us speak about peace.

Peace is not the absence of conflict. Peace is found in the response to conflict. In the material world, conflict arises. It is in the nature of the material world that there will be tension between oppposites. There will be differing perspectives and points of view.

Peace means being able to harmonize, to adjust one’s frequency to the frequency of another, so that rather than two discordant notes, there is a harmony.

Peace involves self-sacrifice. Peace requires the sacrifice of aggression, domination and control, anger and greed and ignorance: the sacrifice of those forces within one to the greater good, the greater harmony, to the force of love and awareness.

Peace is the ultimate nature of Oneness. Meditation, prayer, and contemplation bring the experience of the universal peace, the underlying order, the essential harmony. People know that peace exists and desire to bring it to their lives in the world.

However, in a world of duality peace is not something that is going to just happen. Peace on earth or in one’s heart demands concentrated effort, an awareness of the greater good, an understanding of the interconnectedness of everything and the willingness to give up one’s own personal perspective when necessary to the greater good.

May there be peace on earth and in your heart.

May all beings be happy, peaceful and free of suffering.

*Awareness sessions are channeled readings that provided much of the original information of the SourcePoint principles and practices. Occasionally I will be sharing direct transcripts of Awareness sessions on this blog. In an Awareness Session I am in touch with and speaking for a greater Awareness, a consciousness not separate from my own, but able to see more deeply, clearly and without judgment or opinion, than I am able to in my ordinary consciousness. The field that is accessed is the field from which SourcePoint arose. Before every session I ask to be a clear channel for the light, energy and information that brings positive transformation. Every session has always begun and finished with the simple prayer: May All Beings Be Happy, Peaceful and Free of Suffering. For more information on Awareness Sessions, please see my original website www.youareyourpath.com, an archive of my work from 2000-2007.
