SourcePoint, the Soul’s Journey and the Diamond Points
Painting by Bob Schrei
From Source we arise, to Source we return. In that process we find ourselves Grounded, here on this earth, incarnate, embodied. We may experience a profound disconnection from Source. We may lose our awareness of it, of our original Ground. This loss may take lifetimes, and we may live many lifetimes in that state of disconnection, wandering, pulled and driven. At some point the seed of Source within us is Activated, and that consciousness of what we really are begins to wake up. This waking up may take lifetimes. Eventually Transformation happens, and we are realigned with our fundamental nature even as we are incarnate here on this earth.
If you are familiar with the Diamond Points of SourcePoint Therapy you know their names:
Source, Grounding, Activation, Transformation.
In each SourcePoint session, or meditation, we begin with these points. They are located in the field around the body and form either a diamond shape or an oval egg shape, depending on whether you connect them with a straight or curved line. You can see them in the painting above.
Each point has its own intention, its function. The intention of the Source Point, the first point, is to strengthen the connection to Source, the universal energy-consciousness, and particularly to the Blueprint of Health for the human being, a specific energy-information field present in Source.
The intention of the Grounding Point is to ground that information of the Blueprint in the body, to remind the body of its original nature of Order, Balance and Harmony.
The Activation Point activates that information in the body and brings Transformation.
The Transformation is a life lived in greater alignment with that Order, Balance, Harmony and Flow that is our original nature, from which we arise, and to which we return, in moments, over lifetimes. The process is a paradox, because we have never really left.
Every single session, and every moment of meditation with and on that connection, brings us fully, for that session, for that moment, into a greater connection with our full potential, with our creative power. SourcePoint works directly with the vast creative power of Source. Importantly, it gives us a structure, a container, within which we can work with that vast creative power with specific intentions. We can channel that power through the information of Blueprint, to help us develop our full potential.
One can see how the Diamond Points provide a map for the spiritual journey. Let’s use the word use soul. These days I use that word interchangeably with spirit, essence, and awareness. It’s that in us that journeys, that experiences everything, that learns, or gets caught up and spends its time incarnate turning on wheels of thought and feeling. It’s that in us that knows love, and beauty, and truth. It’s that in it that chooses. It’s Source manifest in the individual. It’s that within the individual that longs to return home, forgettting it is home.
So, manifesting from Source into incarnation we Ground, literally. We incarnate, we find ourselves in bodies. We begin to accumulate stories. We become involved in our stories. We suffer from them, we love them, we find great joy in them. We forget ourselves as we live our stories. Over and over and over. Our awareness (soul, spirit, essence) begins to identify with the story.
As long as we have a strong connection to nature, we are Grounded in the Blueprint, not only our stories. Nature is the universal Blueprint, manifest into all creation, and if we are living in harmony with the natural forces and the spirit/s of nature (the soul, consciousness, essence of nature) we are not grounded only in our individual stories.
The more we lose that connection, the more separate we become from nature, the more we lose our connection to Source. That separation brings greed, aggression, ignorance, constant forgetting. That separation comes through identifying more on what I need, what I have to have, what my tribe, or nation, or family or self has to have, rather than on the natural Order, Balance, Harmony and Flow. It’s a cycle.
And then, somehow our soul suddenly begins to remember. To awaken. That light of consciousness within is Activated. Activation of the memory within awakens us.
Transformation begings to happen. Our awareness (soul, spirit, essence) is a tiny bit awakened. It begins to make different choices. It sees possibilities of what do do with this human life that have been forgotten.
What I experience is that the regular (not regimented, just – steadily arising) practice of the Diamond Points reminds our whole system of its Source, its true Ground, the need to Activate awareness of that connection in order to Transform. It helps me to live a life more in alignment, more connected, more in the rhythm of my fundamental nature, with more awareness. I remember not only the connection to Source, but the midline of the connection between Transformation Point and Grounding Point. Here, now, on this sacred Ground of earth, is where Transformation occurs. Not at some future date in some other dimension when I’ve finally managed to liberate myself from the inconvenience of this body 🙂
Therefore every time I meditate with or receive the Diamond Points I’m not only supporting my physical health and wellbing in the moment, I am acknowledging and supporting my soul (spirit, awareness, essence) I am acknowledging embodiment as no other than the soul’s journey. I am activating my awareness. I am entering consciously into Transformation.
The Diamond Points, it turns out, illuminate, enhance, contain and support every single spiritual practice I’ve ever done.
And so, I wanted to share that experience in case others might benefit from it. I’m not saying anything new here, just expressing it in the language of SourcePoint.
May all beings be happy, peaceful and free of suffering.
